Trip to Beach!

Steve had the great idea of bringing Copach to the beach today. It turned out great the weather was perfect, no wind and the kids played for hours digging and building castles. Copach thoroughly enjoyed his trip to the beach!!! We were laughing hard at the picture of him running into Parker and lifting him off of the ground.

OSU Volleyball

We decided to take the kids last night to watch an OSU volleyball game since it was only $1 to get in. We lost the first three matches and it was over. We played against the Arizona Sundevils. The kids enjoyed watching.

Pumpkin Carving

We had a fun time carving pumpkins yesterday. Conor & Parker took their time and still are not finished so I will post them later. Adrien and Sandy made a cat. Chase said he made a Monster. Chase also helped grandma finish her pumpkin. Steve made a spider and web. Parker's working on a bat. Conor's working on an Alien. I did the headless horseman of sleepy hollow. We also had some treats we made a green drink with ginger ale, sherbert icecream and candy worms!! The kids really liked them and of course the adults had to have one too.

Conor's last soccer.

Conor's soccer team finished the season out today with only one loss (which was their very first game)! Basketball starts up next weekend and Parker & Conor will be playing, so we will be extra busy for a few months. Today we will be carving pumpkins and I will post some pictures later from that.

Last night we went and watched the Highschool varsity football teams homecoming game. It was very close we lost by one point.

Adoption news: Still nothing new were almost at our nine week waiting for the USCIS to accept our application. Our agency said it usually takes about 12 weeks, so that will put us near Conor's birthday. Now I'm thinking we won't be logged in till December sometime!!! I'll keep you all posted.

Hayride & Corn cannon.

The kids talked us into going to another pumpkin patch today. It was the same one Parker's class went to last week. We shot corn out of a cannon and slug shot apples, then went for a hayride.

Corn Maze

The kids had been bugging for a week now to go to a corn maze. So we invited Sean & Anna up and Grandma Mary &Papa Ed also came over. First we watched Conor's soccer game, it was close they ended up winning 3-2. Then we went on over to a large corn maze. We split up and let the boys go first, well the girls caught up in no time and ended up leading them out!

Misc...New Haircut, Day at home,bowling & costumes

On thursday I got my haircut really short. Also I found my halloween costume. Since the boys are all going to be football players I decided I would be a cheerleader.





The boys had thursday and friday off from school, we spent all day thursday doing puzzles!




Today we had a photo shoot at home the boys dressed up in their costumes. I got some good shots. Parker also dressed up in a suit, his class is going to be having a real fancy party soon and he needed a suit.

Parker's class Pumpkin patch trip

Today I volunteered in Parker's class and they went to visit a local pumpkin patch.
They had lots to do for the kids. First we went on a tractor ride to get pumpkins and then we shot corn out of a cannon and apples from a slingshot ( Parker got a bullseye although it bounced in) and then they did duck races.

Trip to firestation and Soccer

I was on call all weekend so we couldn't venture to far from home. We vistited our local fire departments open house and Conor had a soccer game. Conor's team played against one of my Radiologist's son and won 4-3. Conor played goaley and made some good plays.

Adoption update: Still have not received our acceptence letter from the USCIS it's been three weeks and counting since we did our fingerprints and 6 weeks altogether. I'm crossing my fingers for next week!!

Sandy's housewarming party

On friday night we threw Sandy her housewarming party. She moved in to her new house the mid june but we have all been so busy that we didn't have chance until friday.

Also I get my braces off tommorrow!!!
