We went down to G.P. the day after Christmas to spend some time with Steve's family.
Last night we had a dinner with Steve's sister's family and cousin's family.
Chase woke up at 3:30 am and tried to wake Anna & Sean up. Conor was up at 5 am. After waking up the boys then slept till 7:30 when we finally woke them up. Conor was already walking around, Chase was easily awakened, but Parker it took a bit.
The boys awoke to a bunch of presents from santa. Chase got a trampoline. Parker a bakugan board and Conor an IPOD. Then when they went in the family room there were additional gifts a WII!!! And also a DVD player for our van!! They were very lucky this year that Santa wasn't affected by the world horrible economic crisis.
We finally received our corrected USCIS yesterday after waiting an additional eight days after we received the first one with the wrong dates. Since this week is a holiday week our agency probably won't mail it until next week to get it authenticated. After they receive this letter back everything will then go to China also know at DTC (dossier to china).
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!!! I WILL POST CHRISTMAS PICTURE FROM TONIGHT LATER OR TOMORROW.
Here's some pictures from Chase's babysitters annual Christmas Party. Santa arrived shortly after we ate and then the kids opened a stocking from Karleen and Jimmy that contained a hand-made ornament and a Karleen's kids shirt.
Well we got hit with a lot of snow last week. The kids ended up only going to school one day. Parker's class had their party on that day and Conor's class will have a party when they return back to school.
We finally recieved the USCIS letter approval on saturday, however the expiration date was wrong and now we have to get a new letter with the right expiration date before sending it to china. I should know more tomorrow on how long this might take.
We finally got all of our Christmas decorating done. And I even had time to wrap presents. We mostly just decorate our living room since it's the room with the tree and it has a hearth.
Chase was invited to a birthday party today, it was for a little boy from his preschool. They had a clown that painted faces. Chase got a rainbow spiderman and Parker got a blue firecat.
I got an email on friday from our adoption agency that we were finally approved after almost four months of waiting. So as soon as I get the letter in the mail I will fax it to our agency. They then will send it off to be authenticated which will take 7-10 days. Then it will be DTC also known as Dossier to China!!
We decided to try and make candy houses this year. Well all was looking good, then it collapsed and we couldn't get it back together. The boys ended up eating it!
Thursday after meeting up with Grandma Susan and almost to our car, Chase fell and hit his head on the sharp corner of a cement wall. We were in the middle of nowhere, with noone in sight and Chase was bleeding pretty good. After about thirty minutes paramedics arrived and bandaged him up. We then drove straight down to Corvallis and Dr Wong gave Chase three stiches above his eye.
Susan returned home after a delayed overnight stay in Denver. Here are some of the pictures she took while there. Latest update is that on Friday they removed the breathing tube and Justin was able to keep down a little bit of water!!!
On Saturday Justin received the news he had been waiting for, they had a heart for him. They took him into surgery at midnight and was done by early am. He is now in ICU in the first stages of recovery. He will be there for about a week and then stay about six weeks in the Ronald Mcdonald house for complete recovery.
Thanks to everyone that was praying for him and thanks for Grandma Susan that is by his side with his family.
