Band concert

 

Parker had a band concert this last week.  They are on their way to compete in state.   I love hearing them play.  He has come such a long ways from the six grader begging me to play the trumpet.  Now he is on his 4th year and doing Symphonic band along with Jazz band.

Parker and Conor had their Winter band concert last night.  I always love hearing them play Christmas music during this concert!

Parker's last band concert in Middle school

Tonight was the last band concert for Parker as a middle schooler.  He even had his first solo in the Jazz portion.  He has come such a long ways since sixth grade.  He now is so confident in himself.  He was suppose to get his braces yesterday and we put them off a week so that he could play in the last concert without any issues.  The last party they did a funny skit for Mrs. Crocker.  Parker dressed up as Superman, no surprise there!

Band Concerts!

The older boys had their Winter Band Concerts last night.  Before the concert we let Parker pick out a new Trumpet as part of his Christmas present.  He was so proud of it, it was really cute to see.   I only got to get one picture before the concert of the two boys.  Parker played trumpet in regular band and Conor played the Sax in Jazz band and also had a small part with a triangle.

Last night Parker had his District Band Concert.  Sixth through 12th grade played and then at the end they all played together and it sounded really good.

Conor had his first band concert this week.  He's in Jazz band and has to be at the school at 7 am every morning.  He is very dedicated and were so proud of his hard work.

Football and Dance

Tonight Zoe got to perform at the football game.  They dance before the game started and then did a quick halftime show.  We sat with friends and enjoyed watching the Warriors win!  Conor was in the marching band so I snapped a few pictures of him.  Steve was with Parker and Chase watching the OSU soccer game.

Band Concerts

The older boys had their band concert on the same night. Grandma Susan was still in town so she got to make it too. Steve made it back from his trip just in time.  We've all been sick and this was the first time we've been out all week.  Poor Grandma got the sickness too.  Conor played three instruments, He played the electric guitar in the first Jazz band song, then switched to his saxophone in the last two.  Then with the 8th grade band he played the Baritone.  This was Parker's first concert and he played the trumpet.  The both did awesome!
