We went down to the rive today before we left for home. The kids had fun throwing and skipping rocks in the river and watching the fast boats go by.

Memorial Weekend Parade

We went down to my hometown for the weekend and enjoyed the festivities going on. The kids really liked the parade and all the candy they got thrown. We met up with Anna & Sean (brother) & Danny (cousin), Rochelle (his wife), Brianna and Travis (my youngest cousin). We had a great weekend.

We were approve to adopt Caiping from China. We will travel 4-5 months from now.
She was born on 4th of july 2007. She was placed in Dong Guan City Childrens welfare Institute of Guangdong Province. She likes music, is fond of imitating, has a ready smile and loves playing games with kids. I look at her sweet picture everyday and the boys are soooooo excited about knowing who their sister is. We have her room almost completed. I'm going today to get the rest of the wallpaper and a few other things.

Parker's Bug Play

Parker's 2nd grade class had a play on wednesday and they were all bugs. Parker chose to be a fly and I was making wings out of coat hangers and my black nylons and seven in the morning ( becasause I had forgotton until then). I also went by the dollar store and got to small metal strainers that we sewed to a black baseball cap. He had to do a dance with two other girls!!

Chase asked uncle Sean this morning if he would give him a Mowhawk. Well he did and Chase thought it was the greatest thing ever!!

Parker's Mother's day Tea Party

Parker's class hosted a Mother's day tea party. The class played songs on guitars and recited a speech they had to memorize. They did awsome!!! Parker's Teacher Mrs. Hall is amazing!!

Parker lost his first tooth.

Parker is 8 years old and has been wiggling one of his lower teeth for a over a week now. It finally got to where it was super loose and bleeding. So he went into the bathroom with dad and dad tied a piece of dental floss around the tooth and Parker gave one big tug and the tooth came flying out!!! Enjoy the pictures!!

REFERAL!! WE HAVE A LITTLE GIRL!!

Yesterday I woke up and instantly checked my email. We had an email from our agency stating they matched us with a little girl born on July 4, 2007. She has the chubbiest little cheeks ever and is just adorable. I'm going to hold the picture until I get the okay from our agency to post it. So more to come soon. Sounds like we will travel in October or November.

Parker's Jump Rope team performance

Last tuesday night Parker's Jump rope team had their final performance of the year. It was fun to watch Parker and another little girl try and jump rope together with one rope. He started this year unable to jump rope at all, now he knows all kinds of neat tricks.
