Carving Pumpkins

We were all feeling good enough last night to carve our pumpkins. I tried to help chase and ended up messing up his pumpkin and so we had to turn it into a potato head by sticking eyes and ears on it. Conor got creative and carved wolves howling at the moon, Steve carved a cool face, Parker ? I still don't know, Mine was a face and Steve carved Zoe's name in a pumpkin for her. It was all fun, but the mess was horrible!

Pumpkin patch trip

Here finally is our pumpkin patch trip from the weekend before. I was soooo sick last week that I didn't even get out of bed for three days. Now the kids have it so I'm home again!

Now back to the pumpkin patch, we went to the Pumpkin patch with Auntie Anna and Sean, Adrien & Sandy & Grandma Booth. It was a muddy mess luckily we all were wearing our rain boots. We all picked the biggest pumpkins that we could carry out!

I've been sick!

I've been sooooo sick this last week that I still haven't made it to the computer long enough to download our pumpkin patch pictures from last week. Hopefully I'm feeling better by this weekend and I'll get them posted.......

Pumpkin Patch with Chase's class

I joined Chase's class at the pumpkin patch today. Boy was it muddy, I'm glad we remembered to put on our rubber boots this morning!

Firestation

Here we are at our local fire departments open house!

Parker's 3rd grade field trip

I went last wednesday on a field trip with Parker's class to the Aquarium.
We had a great time!!

Our Weekend

I know I know I'm late to post, but I've been going crazy keeping myself busy and away from the house so that I can think about something other than waiting for our TA.

So here's a typical weekend of ours.....

First off to football, then enough time for a quick lunch and then off to soccer.

I also had time to sneak up to Portland for dinner with Anna & Sean to celebrate my dads birthday.

Goodbye Athena & Robert and Hello Snow!!

We went over to Eastern Oregon for the night to attend a going away party for Robert (cousin) & Athena (his wife) who are going to be moving to Kansas! Robert's work closed it's doors and offered them a transfer to Kansas for the year, so next week there driving 15 hours in a U-haul truck to Kansas. They will be missed, hopefully they will be back to visit soon!!

So getting to the snow part, we rented a house for the night and woke up to 4 inches of snow!! And it didn't quit snowing! The bad part is I let my husband pack for the weekend and he packed the kids shorts and t-shirts (lesson learned, I'll be packing for China)!

Another OSU first

Since Parker's doing soccer this year he got invited to be one of the ball boys for the mens soccer team against UCLA this friday. The first half he manned his post and didn't even move, the second half however I swear there were ants in his pants, he couldn't hold still and I was afraid the goalie was going to get him with an incoming rock that Parker was using as a soccer ball!!!
