Wow, I feel like all I post about these days are basketball, well hang in there our season is coming to a close. Parker got to play in the last basketball with his team since he got his cast off on friday. He did good, but his coach didn't play him much since he didn't know most of the plays they were running. Zoe of coarse entertained the crowd during each break, doing her cartwheels. This weekend Chase will play his last game and then Conor has three more games with his school team. Then we get a little break, yes I said little, because then track & field starts, and then baseball shortly after. Here are some pictures from last night.

A trip to the coast!
We had a great weekend at the coast. Of coarse we couldn't actually go to the beach since it was storming and in the mid thirties, typical for a winter day on the Oregon Coast. We had fun spending time at the indoor pool/hot tub, watching Conor play in his last basketball tournament and hanging out with friends & family. Conor's team got second place after a very close last game!

Conor
It's been awhile since I've posted about my oldest boy Conor. Let's just say he's not the most cooperative kid when it comes to letting me take pictures of him. I had to beg today to just get a few pictures of him in his baskeball uniform. Right now it's all about Basketball, and it's been all about basketball since beginning of November. He's on the middle school 7th grade team and also a tournament team. I'm so proud of him, with all he has to deal with when it comes to his Diabetes and he still exceeds in school and sports. Here's a few pictures from today.
| Can't you see the excitement in his eyes ;) |
| maybe a half grin, just before he stuck his tongue out at me, but he wouldn't let me post that picture |
Gallery Night
The fifth grade puts on a Gallery night every year. Every 5th grader has to pick a famous person to write about and put together a poster. They stand by their poster and tell people about their famous person. Well, this year Parker's in 5th grade and it was his turn to do Gallery night. His famous person that he chose was Neil Armstrong. He did so great he almost brought me to tears. He looked so handsome dressed up and he gave his speech flawlessly making lots of eye contact with his audience!
So very proud of you Parker!

Valentines Day
I can't believe how hard it's been to keep up lately. Too many things to do to little time. We had a pretty low key Valentines day. Steve flew out of town today and my mother-in-law Susan is helping me out while he's gone. I picked up a heart shaped pizza on the way home and a smore pizza for desert.
The kids loved it, Conor however missed out, he had an away game and didn't get home till really late.

Chase plays basketball
This weekend was kinda of a low key weekend. We only had one game to go to on saturday. This is the first game I got to watch Chase play in since I was at the Chinese New Years celebration last saturday. It was fun watching him figure things out. He is one of the smaller kids on the court and we couldn't help but laugh when he got matched up with a girl that was over a foot taller than him. He didn't get a basket but attempted about ten times. We went to Church this morning and had just a small Super bowl party with family today, I slept through the halftime show and 3rd quarter. I'm really not ready to go back to work tomorrow, last week was a tough week.
