I was cleaning Zoe's room and decided I wanted her to try on her swimsuits to see what would fit her for this summer and she loved it.  She would run to the mirror after we tried on each swimsuit and then she would prance around the room and smile, so I ran for my camera and turned it into a photoshoot!

5 months since Gotcha day!

I can't believe that it's already been five months since we met Zoe.  She is one amazing little girl that we love sooooo much.  She adds so much fun and laughter to our lives.  She is so happy & loving and loves to dance and sing.  She showed me last night that she can now do somersaults so I will be signing her up for gymnastics soon.  She celebrated her first Easter and really enjoyed coloring eggs & hunting them.

She watched her first soccer & t-ball games since the boys are now playing. 

She's starting to talk more and says a few more words on her own now & can copy about 20 words.

We've been enjoying the weather as it's finally warming up and she's loves the outdoors.

T-ball cutness!

Chase is now playing T-ball and is the cutest little player!  He had his first game on saturday and did great!
While on the field he socialized with the kid next to him and whoever was on 2nd base.  He hit the ball off the tee great, but carried the bat halfway to first base with him.  He's the tiniest one out there on the field but makes up for it in personality!

Well the weather held up through the weekend and we started out friday afternoon with a BBQ outside.

Zoe also got to play in the backyard for the frist time and she loved it!

Sunshine finally

Finally we have sunshine again on the west coast!!!   It was a beautiful day and we couldn't resist taking the kids to the park for a little bit.   We also had our first post-adoption home visit and I think it went well.

Zoe was clung to Steve most of the visit, and showed off her charming personality! 

Weekend news

Sorry no new pictures this week.  We were too busy doing spring cleaning and preparing for our first post-adoption homestudy that is next week.  In Oregon they require a four month follow up and so they will do our first visit a little early. 

My aunt Connie was also up from California for the Weekend, in fact she was my savior Friday and watched Zoe since her babysitter was out of town.  The two older boys were also out of school, so they were able to help with Zoe too.  Friday night I went shopping with the girls and then gambling at a Casino, (if you call puting only ten dollars in gambling), I just couldn't throw my money away.....  Then saturday we cleaned and then I took all of the kids by myself to Diaries of a wimpy kid, Zoe and Chase thought it was boring so I was left trying to entertain them for most of the movie.  However we watched How to train a dragon last week and they didn't move the entire show!  Sunday was much of a repeat of saturday and then I did a little more shopping... I'm searching for the Steven Curtis Chapman CD with When love takes you in, so that I can start making our Gotcha day video.... So hopefully in the next month or so I will have that done and posted, thats also when I figure out how to work my adobe program....  I've also been meaning to post some cute videos of Zoe dancing, so hopefully  soon those will be posted as well.  Well it's late and I have to start a whole new week tomorrow, so I'm off to bed.

Four months home & Happy Easter

We had a great Easter celebration yesterday.  It was also the day that Zoe has been home with us for four whole months.  After seeing what the Easter bunny left and having a egg hunt (which she caught on to real fast), we got dressed up for Church.  And since we don't get dressed up very often I got out my tripod and we got a family picture and some pictures of the kids.
