Sawyer Brown Concert

I first watched Sawyer Brown 15 years ago when I was just fifteen. We watched him tonight at the fair. He put on a really good show, he's got a lot of silly dance moves and looks like he's copying Elvis to some degree. Jennifer & Luke were there, along with Janice & her daughter, and mom, Conor and me!!

Newport for lunch

We took a ride early in the day over to the coast for lunch and shopping!! We didn't get to make it to the beach though, we had to get back to go to the fair.

This was my newest splurge for our little girl!!!

Swimming Lessons

The kids are taking Swimming lessons, they started last week. It took Chase two lessons to completely get in the water. Now he's letting the teacher take him around and he's even jumping in. Conor's in level three and is doing really good. Parker's loving being in the water.

Another Fun Knight's Game!!

We are really enjoying watching Baseball games this summer. We went to another Knights game on Saturday night and had first baseline seats. I'm posting a picture of the Boys with Benny the Beaver.

Trip to the Zoo

On wednesday I had a Dentist appointment up in Portland, so the kids and my mom came along and we went to the Portland Zoo afterwards. The kids had lots of fun. They have a new dinosaur exhibit and we went through it , Chase was a little scared most the time through.

Today were cleaning the house, I spent two hours cleaning the 20 something blinds we have in our house and now I'm tired!!!

Homestudy

Well we had our third homestudy yesterday and it was short and sweet. We scheduled our last visit for August 4th and then were done with that portion. After that we send in an application to the us goverment to allow us to bring an adopted child home.

Yesterday was also conor's diabetes appointment and all went well. We will be looking at getting a pump for him at the next appointment.

Here are the promised pictures from the other day at the knight's game and a picture of Chase's new haircut. Grandma and Grandpa took him without me knowing and got his hair chopped off.

Paperchasing

Now I know why they call it paperchasing!!! We were cruising along in the process without to many mishaps until TODAY. Steve called me and told me that his doctor was finished with his physical and that I could go pick it up. Well I was soooo excited because this was the last paper I needed before we could do our last homestudy visit. So I went to pick it up and trusting my instincts looked at the paper before I left the office, well good thing it wasn't notarized, wasn't even finished filled out. So then I waited to talk with the nurse, well she wasn't the sweetest person, she reminded me that it wasn't their job to find a notary and therefore couldn't notarize it. Well two hours later and multiple phone calls I located the notary that signed my physical and got her to come down to the doctors office. Yeah!!!! We got it done!!!

Also Conor's little league coach took then to the Knight's game in town.
I will upload a few pictures as soon as I can. They had lots of fun!!! Even went out on the field to participate in some games.

Tommorrow is our third homestudy visit. We will schedule our home visit at this time. Hopefully we get our homestudy report by my birthday!!

weekend in Seattle

We met on Friday with the adoption agency and they met the kids for the first time. It went pretty good ( the kids found the loudest toys in the room to play with). We will meet again on tuesday and then we just have the homestudy visit left.

We then went to Seattle for the weekend we stopped at the zoo in Tacome Point Defiance Zoo. The kids had a lot of fun.





The next morning we got up and went to Pikes Market, and the Space Needle. Parker and Adrien went up with me and Sandy. Conor was a little scared and Chase was asleep. We also went on a few rides in the amusement park near the Needle.

Adoption papers

So yesterday I got my much needed work paper from my boss and then Steve got his physical yesterday. We meet with the adoption agency on friday and they will meet the kids for the first time! Were also heading on up to Seattle to spend the weekend and explore!! I will post pictures when we return.

Weekend in Grants Pass

We had a great weekend visiting family and friends in Grants Pass. We had a great visit with Steve's cousin and his family Jake, Brandy, Breanne and Mickey. The kids enyoyed riding motorcycles and quads and Parker tried to catch a fish in their pond. Copach came along and enjoyed swimming in their pond.

Baseball Game

Last night we went to a college baseball game in town. The boys really enjoyed it and our team won!!! They had great fireworks afterwards. Chase had his first sunflower seeds and even stood by the Knights mascot!

Beach trip

We decided to head over to the beach since the weather was so nice out. It was perfect weather, no wind at all. The boys played in the sand for awhile and then decided to run from the waves. Grandma Booth went with us and we all had a really good time.

Conor's last game

Conor's last game was tonight. He finally got the hit we've been waiting for and made it to third.

Steve tried to get his fingerprinting done today for the adoption, but our little town Police deparment wasn't with the program and had noone available all day. So now he has to do it in another city tommorow night.

Copach, our lovely lab had his obedience class tonight and did quite well. We can walk him on a leash now!!!
