Conor was on his fifth grade field trip when his team got their pictures taken, so I made him put his uniform on and I took some pictures of him that I could enlarge!!

Weekend fun!
We went up to Portland for the night and stayed with my brother & sister-in-law in their new house. Steve helped Sean cut some larger branches off his huge tree in the back yard and the boys helped dig holes.
Then we returned home yesterday evening and spent the entire day today cleaning YUCK , but it had to be done. Were having a huge garage sale in a few weeks and I wanted to go through the kids things. Conor parted easily with things he didn't use, but Parker I had to sneak stuff out of his room when he wasn't looking. The last picture is Steve hauling one of our sheds away to my parents house, he has a big project this summer to build his own shed.....
The large fort the kids made out of boxes at Uncles Sean's house, they even wanted to sleep in it that night.

My little girl 6 months ago
My little girl now
6 months since Gotcha day
Wow, it's hard to believe it's been six months.
Our little girl has blossomed before our eyes. Yeah She is something special. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever imaged the happiness that she would bring to our lives. She is our little princess, our baby girl, so very special to us. I love to watch things through her eyes and the excitement she gets from the simplest of things. She has such an enormous heart and always has a hug and kiss for you.
I love you baby girl!!!!

Shot drama
We've all been there done that with shots.... But with an eleven year old.... or should I say my eleven year old. Well it's a whole different story. Zoe ,well she's at the age where she just goes along with what we do and doesn't worry about it until it happens. But with Conor, I had to hide the appointment from Conor. Even my calendar was written in code so that Conor couldn't figure out that the appointment was also for him. He's been on alert since Zoe's last appointment and I had asked about shots that he needed, we learned he needed at least one before Junior hight next year. So I put it off as long as I could, Zoe needed her second Hep B shot so I thought that I'd schedule them together get it over with.
LAUGH.... At least I was smart enough to tell my husband to meet me there, otherwise who knows how I would have made it through. Conor figured out what was going on as soon as I told them all to get in the Van that we had an appointment to attend. He got in with some coaching, but once we arrived there was no way he was getting out of the Van. So I left him and went in to check in, and called my husband to let him know Conor was still in the car. By the time Steve arrived Conor had exited the vehicle but was standing next to it. As soon as he seen his dad he bolted. So from inside the waiting room I watched as my husband chased him around the parking lot, around the cars, and I laughed, actually I was doubled over laughing. I don't know how, but eventually Steve caught him and carried him in.
Yeah it was quite a sight, but wait that wasn't even the worse of it. We had to literally pull him down the hall to the room. The nurse decided it was WISE to have Zoe go first, I wonder what gave her that impression. Zoe jumped up on the exam table, laid down and pulled up her shorts and then screamed, funny girl... Conor well he just cried, cried because he was next and because he needed two shots instead of one. When it was his turn I swear he transformed into the HULK, he screamed, and yelled and at one point I thought he was going to puke. Poor guy had to get two shots in one arm because he wouldn't hold still. As we were exiting the building we were followed by stares, the whole building heard my son and the screaming. And all this from a child who has to give himself four shots a day because he's diabetic.... Go Figure....

My grandparents
Most of you know the story about my grandparents and it's a sad one. We met up with them while in town and the kids got some love.
