Acting Up

Conor's was part of the Acting Up group again this summer their last performance was today at a church in town. He was a bit nervous at today's performance and I was terrified that his blood sugar was going low. He pulled through and did very good on the last skit that he did. Anna's Bridal Shower

This weekend was Anna's family Bridal Shower! Connie, Danny, Rachelle & Bri came up for the special occasion and we had a great time together. We got to meet a lot of Anna's side of the family that we hadn't met yet and enjoyed lots of great food and drinks. Heres some pictures from the big day.

Conor's Playing tackle football

Conor decided he didn't want to play soccer this fall and instead wanted to play tackle football. As a mom I'm having a real hard time with this and am hoping it's just a one year thing. And what's worse is Steve signed me up to be the photographer for the team so now I have to watch!

Signing LOA

My mom was great on monday she took pictures of the guy that delivered our LOA and of us signing at work!! Thanks MOM!! unfortunately we will have to do it all again with our new LOA next week!!

Wrong DOB on our LOA

We recieved and signed our LOA on monday, however shortly after signing and when my mom was already at the post office I noticed they had the wrong DOB for Cai Ping.
I almost started crying, we waited an agonizing 108 days for the LOA and now it was wrong. Our agency went to work at it right away and got us a new LOA the next day, I was so relieved when I found this out this morning, maybe we won't be as delayed as I thought.

LOA

We are so happy to announce that we recieved our LOA yesterday. Our agency call around noon yesterday and left a message on the answering machine, and Steve didn't play it until about six that night after we had given up all hope for any news that day. It will be anywhere from 6-9 weeks from this point so it's looks like mid October will be when we travel!!

Trip to California!!!

We'll we just got back from our annual august trip to Aunt Connies in California.
We spent the first day at the waterslides and Parker went on all the water rides with me, Conor did all but one and Chase stayed in the kiddy pool. No pictures from the water park, I didn't want to worry about my camera all day and we forgot to buy a water camera. The boys learned about Crop Circles from Uncle Bob hince the picture of them all around the computer. We went on a walk with all of Connies dogs!! We went to Chuck e Cheese with Danny, Rachelle and Brianna. And we came home with a puppy! Yeah I said it a puppy. Call me crazy, we just got our two year old black lab trained, but the kids begged and I gave in. Her name is Summer and she's a PUG/Boston Terrier. Enjoy the pictures.

100 days waiting for LOA

Tomorrow will mark the 100th day of waiting for our LOA a.k.a letter of acceptance from China. Tomorrow is also my birthday, I'm praying we will have some kind of new news this week but am not very hopeful. We had our agency check last week and China said our paperwork was good to go and was processing. So who knows how much longer it will actually be. We were really hoping to travel the end of september, but now it won't be a least until October for sure. I will let you all know as soon as we have some good news! Meanwhile we are taking a little 5 day trip down visit my aunt in California, I will post some pictures when we return.

My brother's Fiance's Bridal Shower was last night. It was a fun time and I met a fun group of girls!!! I couldn't ask for a better Sister-in-law!
