Travel approval and Consulate Appointment!

It's been a busy week this week.  On Monday morning we received our Travel approval!  The very next day we had a confirmed Consulate appointment and were able to secure our International flights.  We are still in the process of working on our in country itinerary and should hopefully have it all done in the next few weeks.  We have lots to get done before we leave in 45 days!   We leave on 11/3/14 and return on 11/22/14.  Conor will celebrate his 16th Birthday while we are in China.  We are also in the midst of completing our travel website and I will be posting the link soon so that everyone can follow our time in China!

Zoe's Football halftime performance

Zoe had her first performance of the school year.  She went to dance camp back in August and they got to perform in the first home football game.  She is on a dance team this year and should have several other competitions this year.  She once again won over the crowd with her fancy dance moves and personality!

Soccer has started

Soccer season is officially in full swing.  Conor's been playing for the last few weeks.  They have been all preseason games.  I'm posting pictures below from his first home game.  He was the team caption and did a great job.   Parker and Chase started their season this Saturday.  Both teams won their games.  Chase scored two times.  The first one he scored within the first 30 seconds of the game.

First day of School 2014-15

Well school has officially started.  We now have a Sophomore, 8th grade, 4th grade, and a 2nd grader.
I'm keeping the tradition of measuring and weighing the kids again.

 Chase was 49 1/4 inch and 49.6lbs last September.  Now he is 51 inches and 56.6lbs
So he grew 1 3/4 in and gained 7lbs in one year.

 Zoe was 45 1/4 inches and 45.4lbs last September.  She is now 47inches and 49lbs.  So she grew 1 3/4 inch and gained just over 3 lbs

 Conor was 70 1/4 inches and 124lbs last September and is now 71 1/2 inches and 140lbs.
He grew 1 1/4 inches and gained 16lbs.

Parker had the most change over the last year.  Last September he was 61inches and weighed 83.4lbs.
Now he is 64 inches and 104lbs.  He grew 3inches and gained over 20lbs!

Sean's Birthday

Today we celebrated with my brother for his birthday.  We left Grants Pass early to make it back in time to meet them at a farm that brews their own beer.  We had a good visit with family!
