Wedding Pictures

Saturday Chase and I were in a Wedding for a friend of mine from work.  Chase did such an awesome job!  The ceremony was a bit to long for him and I could see him stretching his legs and arms.  His favorite part was riding in a limo to the reception.

Our 13th Anniversary

Yes we got married young.  Very young, I was 19 and he was 20.   But I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.  We celebrated by going out to a movie and then dinner.  Not much, but alone time is scarce so we take what we can get.

I couldn't go without popcorn

Although we weren't too hungry after eating popcorn we still had room for @pplebee's

Golfing with Chase

Today was Chase's day for some special one on one time and he  choose to golf.  I  posted some cute videos of him.  He either has me laughing or yelling that boy!  On the way home he kept clicking his toy gun and I asked him to stop several times, the last time I said " One more time and it goes out the window", his reply to that was " Well mom that would be litering and then a cop would come get you", I never win with this guy!

Happy 4th Birthday Kayli!

We celebrated with Kayli today on her 4th birthday.  We met the Blake's at the very start of our journey, just after we were logged into China.  They adopted Kayli back in March of 2008 from China and were a great resource for us while we waited.   We have become good friends and the girls love getting together.  Here are some cute pictures from today.

Playing Dress up

Zoe & Chase are going to a Princess Party tomorrow.  So tonight they had to model what their wearing to the party tomorrow.   Zoe's dressed as Belle and Chase's is wearing his tux.

Hopefully she'll let me get some better pictures tomorrow without her hands on her face.

Steve's summer project

Every summer my husband needs an outside project to occupy his time.  This summer he wanted to build a shed and not just any shed a 192 sq ft shed.   I can't say that I didn't have my doubts, he's never built a structure this big before.  But I have to say I'm pretty dang proud of him.  It's almost complete, it just needs siding and some paint and some detail work, but he got a lot done in his little amount of time he gets to work on it.   Our little three day trip with my mom down south gave him time to get the roofing all done.

Here's some pictures of the shed so far.

Redwoods

Today we took a long walk in the Redwood forest in Northern California.  I love the Redwoods, this was one of my favorite places to go when I was little and today I got to share it with the kids.

Yesterday we had a fun day driving through a Safari! Here's some pictures from the day.  The kids even rode a camel.
