Parker had his first game last night. He plays point guard and he did so good. The first half the kids were just trying to figure things out and then the second half they came alive and almost caught up.
They ended up loosing the game 20-23 so close.

A beautiful day at the coast
On Monday the kids were off from school so we decided to get out of the fog that has been settled in our area and go to the coast for lunch. Wow what a great choice this was, it was beautiful. We ate lunch at the Chowder bowl with the best waiter ever! Then we let the kids go down to the beach, there wasn't even wind, which never happens on the Oregon coast. The kids enjoyed running from the waves and Zoe ended up falling in the water. Here are some pictures from the day!

Baseketball
Well Chase had his first game today. It went well, the kids at that age are so fun to watch. It started with a kid getting the ball and running all the way down to the other end without dribbling. Chase got matched up with the tallest kid on the team but held his own and didn't let the kid make any basket by guarding him good. Chase didn't have much of a chance shooting since the kids were so tall and blocked his shots. He did breakaway a couple times and got two baskets.

2013
Wow it's 2013 and I just noticed that I haven't posted yet. We have been so busy over the last few weeks and I have neglected to take any pictures to show for it. One of the most exciting things that has happened is that we officially opened up a savings account to start saving for our next Adoption. While sitting there at the bank it suddenly became more real, Zoe is going to have a sister and our family is going to be complete! The other big thing is that Steve and I started a diet and so far we are both doing well on it. Steve has lost close to 7lbs and I've lost almost 5lbs. I made quite the list of resolutions this year and I feel good about how it's all going so far. These are also things that really needed to be accomplished before we add another child to our family.
Wrestling ended for Chase, Parker had a few more weeks left but had to quit early because his grades falling. He was trying to practice wrestling five days a weeks, basketball two times a week and just had no time for the homework load that has seemed to increase. They both had a really good season and we look forward to another season next year.
Basketball has officially started. Steve is coaching Chase's team and they have their first game today, so hopefully I'll have pictures to post later. Conor starts practice next week and Parker's first game is next week. So once again things are going to be crazy for awhile.
I feel like I'm rambling now, not used to writing so much. So I'll end with a promise for a post later today and a promise that I will write more with my blogs (something that really hard for me to do)!
