This 4th of July was my Holiday to be on call. The first time since Zoe's been home with us. It was hard to work on her birthday. I made it home for a couple hours long enough for dinner and for her to blow out her candles and then I was called back into work. We bought a small collection of fireworks for the kid sot let off. Conor was in charge and did a good safe job. Hope seemed to enjoy watching all the pretty colors!

4th of July
This weekend we went down to Grant's Pass to spend the 4th. The 4th was also Zoe's 7th Birthday!
We spent the day on the Rogue River and really enjoyed our time on the river with family.

Happy 6th Birthday Zoe
Our baby girl did it again. She went on and got another year older. Seems like yesterday we were in China getting ready to meet her. She has grown so much over the last year. She just completed Kindergarten. She made so many new friends and her speech has improved tremendously. She is now reading and catching up with her brother Chase. She loves to write stories and draw pictures, she has such a great imagination. She moved up a level in Gymnastics and will be starting in the fall in level 3. She did another full year of Ballet and was such an awesome Ballerina at the recital. She also tried Soccer but didn't like it much. She is a good swimmer and is like a little fish. She is still very much a girly girl, always putting on lipstick and wearing her high heels. I can't wait to see what the next year brings!
