Salem Sprague competition

Today was the last of the dance competitions.  However it really wasn't a competition because there were no other elementary school there so they danced exhibition.  They did really good and the whole family was there to watch.  Philomath Middle school also dance and did extremely well and ended up placing 1st in small group.

Asian festival, Get Air and Birthday party

Wow what a crazy busy weekend.  First a full day in Portland with Zoe's dance team and then a full day in Eugene for the Asian Festival and a birthday party.

We left early to get to the Asian Festival when they opened at 10.  We watched the Lion dance first and the kids got to feed them money.  Then we walked around for a little bit, while visiting with another family that lives in Eugene that adopted a little girl from China.  We also got to reserve our tickets for a show at the end of March.  We are so excited to take the girls!

Then it was of to Get Air for a friends birthday.  It's a giant trampoline place.  All the kids got to jump, even little Hope.  Zoe found some other gymnast and hung out with them for the rest of the time doing flips.

Then off to Papa's pizza for the party.  Ryland was turning four!

Carving Pumpkins and Halloween

We didn't get to visit a pumpkin patch this year.  Too many things going on the last few weeks.  So our pumpkins were bought at our local grocery store and we carved them the Monday before Halloween.  This was also the first year that Steve and I didn't carve our own pumpkin:( 

Halloween ended up being my last day of work for THREE months!  I worked a half a day and then picked the kids up from school.  We went grocery shopping for the dinner we were going to have that night.  Then later I took a group of kids and met up with another mom and we went Trunk or treating.

Later after our dinner we walked from our house to the school Trick or treating along the way.  The school had a fun party with games. We stayed for about an hour and then headed back home.  Steve took Chase to meet up with some friends and Zoe and I came back home to watch a movie and hand out candy.  Parker was staying at a friends house and Conor was playing in a the band for the football playoff game.

Last day of School

The kids had an extra long school year this year due to all the snow we got.  They had to go an extra week. 

 Conor just finished his Freshman year.  In September he was 70.25 in / 124lbs.  He is now 70.9 in and 131lbs.  He gained 7lbs but barely grew.  He is just under six foot.  He really loved his first year of Highshcool.  He played Soccer, Basketball and track & field. 

 Chase just finished 3rd grade.  In September he was 49.25 in and 49.6lbs  Now he is 51 in and 54 lbs.  He has grown 1 3/4 in and gained 4 1/2 lbs.  Chase had a great teacher this year.  He played Soccer, Wrestling, Basketball & track & field this year.

 Parker just finished 7th grade.  In September he was 61 in and 83.4lbs.  Now he is 64in and 101lbs.
He has grown the most, 3 inch and almost 17lbs.  He played Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball this year

 Zoe just finished 1st grade.  In September she was 45.25 in and 45.4lbs.  Now she is 46in and 50lbs.
She has grown 3/4in and 4 1/2 lbs.  She did dance and gymnastics this year
