Busy busy busy

I started sudying for my last ultrasound test this week. I'm hoping to take in beginning of March. Steve has been bugging forever to get it done with and he won't let me start Zoe's room without having it done. So I'm hitting the books for the next month and hopefully be done by beginning of March!!

Sears called me up last weekend and asked if I wanted to purchase the CD from Conor's birthday picture for 19.99. It was a good deal since in November they were going to be alot more than that. So now I can post a few pictures from the shoot.

Basketball season is here

Yesterday the boys had their second basketball games. Steve is coaching Parkers team this year and Parker's doing great, he's very good at blocking,dribbling and even has made a few baskets.
Conor is also doing very well this year. We really enjoy watching them play especially since its inside the warm gym.

Wacky hair day at school

Parker decided he wanted to participate in wacky hair day at school on friday. Conor decided against it. Heres our creation!!!

Dossier to China

Finally after almost seven months of paperwork our file was sent to China yesterday. Now we wait to hear our Log-in-date. China will be celebrating their spring festival soon so we may not know until mid or end of february.

Dossier to China

I recieved an emial from our agency on friday letting us know that our paperwork should be mailed out on tuesday to China!! We are so excited that this is finally happening. I know alot of you are wondering what happens next, well after we recieved our log in date it's wait time. Just about every month the Chinese goverment sends out a list of special needs children with anywhere from minor to major medical issues. We review these list every month looking for a child that would match are family and has a special need that we are familiar with. If we find a child from this list it will take about six months or less from the time we inquire. Otherwise waiting for a healthy girl under one we could be waiting years.
We will keep everyone up to date if anything new should come about.

Conor's Christmas Play

Since the Christmas play got canceled due to unexpected snow the kids performed the play last night. The title was The Grinch stole Christmas and Conor had to dress up like a whoo. I really enjoyed doing his hair and the play was great.

Trip to the Coast

We packed some lunch and took Great Grandma Evelyn over to the Coast for the day.
First stop was a picnic area to eat our lunch and a visit to a small lighthouse. Then off to OSU science exploration and then to a large lighthouse that my legs barely made to the top of.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!

We wish everyone a happy, healthy, New Year! We had a quiet day at home with family and friends. Charlie & Geneva came over from Prineville and Ray and Darlene came up from Rosburg. We had a great visit.
