Holt Picnic and Fair

This weekend was the Holt annual picnic.  We attended this one last year and the kids loved it so we went again this year.  The turnout was not as good as last year mainly because of the heat but it was neat to meet a few new families and chat about adoption.  Afterwards we headed to the fair and had a quick dinner provided from my work.  We didn't stay long as it was really hot out and the kids already had a long day.  Chase did an additional 50 pushups at the army recruiter to earn another prize.

Fair

Today the kids got to go to the fair with some friends.  Each of the kids had a friend to hang out with.
We let the kids ride for a few hours and then met back up with the older kids.  Zoe and Chase decided to ride sheep.  It's the kid version of bull riding.  I posted the videos on facebook they were pretty funny.  My kids were the first ones to go all by themselves, the rest of the kids wanted to go slow.
Chase made it all the way across the arena and Zoe made it halfway.  We then watched a magic show and then let them ride some more rides.   We went home for a short bit so that the younger two kids could do their swim lesson.  We met back up later that night and watched the Band Gloriana.  The girls loved dancing to the music.
