Chase's OMSI field trip

I finally got to go on a field trip. I went with Chase's fifth grade class to OMSI. It was a fun day with a fun group of kids!

Chase had his first field trip and uit was on my day off so I was able to attend. We visited the Forestry department at Oregon State University. The kids had nine different stations that they attended. It was a lot of fun but boy does Chase's teacher have her hands full!

Zoe 1st grade Farm field trip

I got to arrange my work hours so that I could attend Zoe's 1st grade farm field trip with her. It was a rainy cold day but the kids didn't let that slow them down. I've been to this same farm a few other times with Chase's class. The lady that owns the farm was a teacher at the Elementary school a few years ago and is now retired. She has sheep, Lama's, Alpaca's, Chickens, turkeys, rabbits, and peacocks. The kids got to help feed the chickens and also helped with jobs around the farm.

Chase 3rd grade Newport Aquarium field trip

Today I went on a field trip with Chase's third grade class. I have gone with each of the kids on this field trip and now it was Chase's turn. I had a group of three boys. The bus ride there was fun, I had two girls from his class sit with me and they were so nice and polite. We started out in a classroom with different stations. This was really interesting and I even learned some things. After this we ate lunch and then were off in our groups to visit the different areas. I had a good time and glad I got to go with him. He's quite the popular boy in his class, kids were fighting to sit by him on the way there and the way back. Even kids from other groups were trying to join our group. Chase field trip

Chase had a field trip at the fair grounds and it was on my day off! So I met his class there. I had a group of six kids three boys and three girls. We had ten different stations that they went to and learned about forestry.
