Day 3 Typhoon Lagoon

The water park was great, Zoe and chase loved the little kids area!  Parker and Conor loved swimming with the sharks and stingrays.  Later that night we went to Hollywood studios and rode some rides, this was the first day that it down poured on us.

Day 2 Magic Kingdom

I've already posted some pictures from Day 1 at Magic Kingdom, here are a few more.  The weather was overcast the whole time we were there and not two hot.   We had a few days that it really rained and we ended up buying ponchos for the whole family.  Zoe was scared of alot of the rides the first day at Magic Kingdom, she really didn't like Pirates of the Caribean and said "that bad" after we got off of it.

Day 1 Downtown Disney

Our flight arrived in around 4 pm and we rode a shuttle straight to the hotel.  We stayed at All star Movies resort in the Woody and Buzz lightyear area.  After arriving and checking in Steve realized he left his backpack on the shuttle bus from the airport, it had our laptop in it.   He spent the rest of the night on the phone getting it back.  Meanwhile we went to downtown Disney to meet up with Zoe's babysitter Karleen and Jimmy who were also staying at DisneyWorld on vacation.   We ate at Rainforest Cafe and Zoe was scared of the lightening storms that took place every half hour.  It was a long day to say the least.

Zoe's 3rd birthday party!

Yesterday we had Zoe's third birthday party at a park in town.   She had fun playing with water balloons, opening presents and blowing the candle out on her minnie mouse cake that daddy made her.

She also loved her new pink princess bike that we got her!   Enjoy the pictures, were off to Disney World, we are bringing the computer so that I can follow a family thats in China now getting their little Mattie ( the girl that we took pictures of at the orphanage).   We may post from Disney, but if not I will be sure to post when we return!

Zoe's last little gym class and baseball

Zoe had her last little gym class today and loved all of the attention.  Instead of doing a somersolt she does a front hand spring, I'm afraid that she's going to hurt her neck.  I already signed her up for another class that will start after we get back from vacation and she'll have her buddy kaylie it too.

Also Parker had a game last night and I realized I really had no pictures of him so I brought my camera and took a few!

Oh and I almost forgot Zoe & me got a pedicure yesterday and she LOVED it!!  She even talked to girl into painting her hands too.

7 Months since Gotcha day

She has made so much progress since last month.  She is using more and more words on her own. My favorite new word is "come-on" and she signals with her little finger to follow her.  

Zoe got her ear pierced!

Yeah I said EAR, just one.  We went up to OHSU to see a facial specialist and talk about surgery options for her right ear.  He said most surgeries don't take place until the child is 6 or 7 years old, so we have a few years.  Also he explained the two different types of surgeries they perform.  We will be seeing another specialist sometime next month to evaluate whether she has a functioning inner ear.   So we asked the Dr while we were there if it was okay to pierce both of her ears, and he said no.  He wanted her right ear left alone, so we got the left ear pierced.  She has been wanting it pierced for that last few months and we kept putting it off until we knew what the Dr said.  So she did cry, but as soon as we showed her the earing in the mirror she was all smiles!

Happy Father's day to my wonderful hubby!

Happy Father's day Steve!!!   I'm glad you got the chance to go on a bike ride with your boys.   Thanks for always being there whether it was to change a stinky diapher or to listening to my millions of thoughts each night.   Your a great father to our kids and have given them so much love and patience.... WE LOVE YOU DADDY!!!
