Candy Houses

The kids always love this tradition, but I always put it off as long as I can since it is usually so messy.
I bought a kit that the house was already put together for the younger two and then a house to build for the older two. They turned out great!

Parker's Play

Parker had to dress up as a cowboy for his school's christmas play

He wasn't to happy about the hat I bought him which was a woody hat
But he wore it for his mama
I have to say he was a cutie other than the boot issue, one was tucked in one was out!

Santa Visits our home!

Tonight Santa made a special visit to our home. He knock at the door and Chase went an answered it. He stood in shock that Santa was at his door. Zoe turned around and ran into my arms terrified. We managed to get her to sit on his lap for one picture.

Zoe's Field trip and One year post adoption meeting

Today I went along with Zoe's class to Storybook land. It's basically a whole bunch of differenet scenes from different movies and stories. Zoe really enjoyed it. However Santa was at the end and at this point this was the third time that she's seen Santa in the last week, and let just say he terrifies her. She stood in line not knowing what she was in line for and to my surprise after seeing her friend sit by Santa she too went up and sat for a picture. She's been sporting a nice large bandage on her head the last few days from an encounter with the corner of our dresser. She has suburb timing with these kind of accidents since today was also our one year post adoption meeting with our social worker. All went well and now we are officially done with all the mandated stuff through our government and China. We still however need to still readopt threw the state of Oregon so that she will be issued a Birth Certificate rather than an abandonment Certificate.
