Re-adoption Ceremony!!!

Well after two months and lots of paperwork Zoe is officially re-adopted!!!  She was so cute during the ceremony the Judge asked her if she wanted to go up and sign the paper and she said "yes".   She wouldn't however sit on his lap, so she stood beside him and after choosing a red marker signed her name below where he signed his.

Trike a thon for St. Jude's

Yesterday Zoe's school had their annual Trike a thon with all the proceeds going to families of St Jude's hospital.   Chase didn't have school so he came along too, unfortunately his bike tire was flat and he didn't get to ride it but they had other tricycles for him to ride.  He was hesitant at first but then he was speeding around the gym.  Zoe rode her bike that she got on her last birthday and hadn't really had much of a chance to ride before.  They had a pit stop area where they could stop and eat a bite and drink some water.  I think Zoe stopped every other lap to eat a grape and then on she went!  Here are some pictures from the day.

Conor's band Concert

Conor had a band concert on last tuesday.  It was a district wide concert with kids from 6-12 grade.
Each grade played two songs and then at the end they all played two songs.  It was unbelievable how far these kids have come since September when they first started playing these instruments.

Soccer has begun!

Soccer season has officially began.  Steve had us up early getting ready for Parker's first game at 9 am.  We arrived at the field and we were told we had the wrong time.   We then returned home for a few hours before we returned for Chase's game.  Chase did really good and was the only one on his team to score a goal.  Parker almost scored a goal a few times, it was the closest he's ever gotten.   He gave it his all the whole game.    Chase met up with some girls from school while Parker was playing his game.  Were definitely going to have to watch out for this boy when he's a little older!

Conor's first track meet UPDATED

Conor had his first ever track meet yesterday.  He competed in four events, high jump, long jump, 100meter, 100meter hurdles.   He did really good!  I was confused since I've never been to a track meet, it seems really chaotic if you don't know what's going on.   We should have the results back sometime next week and I'll post on it.  Until then here are some pictures from the day.  By the way it was FREEZING!

Circus Fun

A few weeks ago my mom and I took the two younger kids to the Circus.  I forgot I took pictures until I was downloading my pictures from my little camera.  Zoe really liked it!  She raised her hand everytime the guy came by that was selling popcorn, cottoncandy and shaved ice drinks and of course Grandma made sure she got what she wanted.  I even got her on an Elephant!
