Turkey Bingo

Every year our six grade class puts on a event called Turkey Bingo.  You play bingo to win a frozen turkeys.  It is a fundraiser for the sixth grade outdoors school.  We always have fun at this event.  We won a 13lb turkey this year!

Firestation

I went with Zoe's class on Monday to the firestation.   It was fun and she loved it!  Here are a few pictures from the day.

Soon to be a teenager

Conor will be 13 years old next Saturday!  This momma's not ready for a teenager in the house.  I know it was coming and there is nothing I can do about it, but still it's hard for a mom to see her kids grow up.  We just measured him tonight and he is already 5 foot 3 inches, just 3 more inches and we will be seeing eye to eye.  So next weekend is his actual birthday, but we just found out that he will be in a basketball tournament, and decided to celebrate a little early.  He's been wanted an airbrush kit for years and we finally broke down and let him get one this year.  We got him some papers to practice on and some cheap ceramics.   So he opened his present tonight and then we went to the restaurant of his choice.  And what does a soon to be 13 year old boy choose, of course and all you can eat buffet!  I'm posting the pictures from tonight and will post more next weekend on his actual birthday.

Meeting baby Landon

Today the kids got to meet their baby cousin Landon for the first time.  They each got to hold him and get a picture with him.  Chase loved holding him and kept bugging me to let him hold him more.  We brought sandwiches for lunch and then made them a soup for dinner.  We went for a walk to the nearby school and the kids got to play on the playground.  I'm already missing him, he's so precious!
