Asian Festival

 

 

We got to attend the Asian festival again.  This was Yiyi's first time.  Hope went last year just a couple months after she was home.  We love watching the Lion dance and Chinese dancers. They also got pet the animals and eat Chinese food.  We met up with Abby and her family again.  It was nice seeing them and the girls got to hang out.

 

 

 

Zoe West Linn dance compitition

 

 

This was Zoe's first actual competition of the season.  The first dance was exihibition.  They competed against other Portland dance studios.  They ended up place 3rd out of 4 teams.  The teams they competed against had mostly older girls on the team. 

 

Philomath Dance Compitition

This weekend Zoe had her first dance competition and it was in our hometown.  I had to help out a bit  and I had the girls on my own since Chase had a wrestling tournament.  It was an exhausting day but the girls danced so well and  I loved watching them.

Chase dual meet

Chase last dual meet against Jefferson.  He barely won by points.

Parker Santiam Christian invitational

Parker's highschool wrestling club had a tournament this last weekend.  We spent the whole day watching them.  Parker had three matches.  He lost his first match and was pinned at the last minute.  He won his second match against a girl from his club and he pinned the last kid also from his club.

Grants Pass wrestling tournament

While we were down in GP.  We decided to let Chase do a wrestling tournament in town.  What a competition it was!  He had an easy first match and ended up hurting the kids arm.  Then the last kid was quite confident that he was going to win Chase.  They went three rounds and Chase ended up pinning the kids in the last second.  We were so excited!  He took 1st place in the tournament.

New Year's weekend

New years we went down south to visit relatives.  It was Yiyi's first road trip.  She slept most of the three hour drive.  We had a fun weekend of playing games and visiting with old friends.
