We spent the day at the beach today and picked a great day to go. Usually it's hit or miss on the Oregon coast whether it will be nice or windy and cold. The beach was perfect me & my mom even took turns sunbathing while the kids played in the sand and water (which was still ice cold).

Fair days and hot weather!!

We decided to try the fair out today and only stayed for a little over an hour because of the heat. We are going later to watch the Diamond Rio concert!! Here are some of the pictures from our short trip!

We are having a heat wave in Oregon with temperatures getting very close to the 100s.
We normally never reach even the high 90s in our region. The boys have their older cousin Jonah down for the week and have been having fun with him. Today they caught five crawdads from the River and dumped them in our little pond in the backyard. Parker had been outside all day staring at the little pond and this evening they decieded to have a little fun and tied a worm on the end of a string and took turns feeding the fish, who were actually attacking the worm. Our cat was spying on all the fish while the kids were fishing.

Zoe's room

We are just about done with Zoe's room. We still need to finish the mirror for the dresser, repaint the bookshelf we just bought at a yardsale (the doll house one) and finish her rocking chair!! We are still waiting for our LOA which is taking forever, tomorrow will be 70 days waiting. Our agency says any day but also says it could take up to 4 months!!!

We spent the weekend in GP our home town and where my in-laws live. We came down to do the swap, pick up Parker and let Conor stay for the week. Parker had such a fun week with Grandma and Grandpa he really didn't want to leave. We also celebrated Grandma's Susans' birthday with a delicious Icecream Cake.

Conor begged us to take him bowling tonight. He even thought he could beat me!!!
He lost 129 to 111. I even got a turkey, maybe my first ever!
Parker's missing from the pictures because he's staying with grandma & grandpa for the week, we will trade off this weekend and Conor will get to stay.
