Valentine's day

Hope your Valentine's day was a good one.  Mine started out with an emergency trip to the vet for our dog and a $200.00 vet bill for a split gum that got infected.  Then I learned that our adoption agency ASIA is closing it's doors as of March 1st.   Then the boys Valentines gift was delayed because the train the package was on derailed.  The last thing was only watching Parker play a couple minutes in a game that he should of had a lot more play time in.

The pictures are cute, I did get to volunteer at Zoe's and Chase's  school for the parties.

Conor's 8th grade Basketball

Conor's 8th grade team has been playing for the last two weeks.  He made the A team again and it's even more competitive this year.  They have every game this season so far.

Weekend wrap-up

Wow the weekends go by way to fast.  We had a great time with Landon and were sad to see him go.
We spent Saturday watching Chase's game and playing with Landon.  Today we rode up North to drop him off and did a little shopping.  The boys got some new shoes at the Nike outlet and are excited about wearing them to school tomorrow.   Here's the pictures from Chase's game and our visit with Landon.

Yesterday we met my sister in law halfway so that we could pick up my little nephew for the weekend.  We did a little shopping at the mall before they arrived and Echo ran into one of her friends from China.  We let the girls visit for a little bit while we finished up our shopping.  Then we met Anna at a pizza place and ate lunch.  Landon is such a cutie and oh so smart.  He knows signs and also signs Please!  Last night we went out to eat and he learned the sign "time" while we were waiting for our food.  Then a guy walked in with a cowboy hat and he pointed to the guy and then his head.  We are enjoying every precious minute with him since we don't get to see him too often.

Last night ended with Zoe and I going to watch Swan Lake.  This was both of our first time seeing a real ballet.  She loved it and said that's what she wants to do when she grows up, lol.

Parker's first game

Parker had his first game last night.   He plays point guard and he did so good.  The first half the kids were just trying to figure things out and then the second half they came alive and almost caught up.
They ended up loosing the game 20-23 so close.

A beautiful day at the coast

On Monday the kids were off from school so we decided to get out of the fog that has been settled in our area and go to the coast for lunch.  Wow what a great choice this was, it was beautiful.  We ate lunch at the Chowder bowl with the best waiter ever!   Then we let the kids go down to the beach, there wasn't even wind, which never happens on the Oregon coast.  The kids enjoyed running from the waves and Zoe ended up falling in the water.  Here are some pictures from the day!
