Homecoming

I'm a bit late posting.  It's so hard to keep up with everything going on preparing for China.  Parker had his first formal highschool dance.  He even asked a girl.  He wrote a soccer ball "will you go to Homecoming with me it will be a ball"and had his friend with a porshe pick him and take him to her house.   Conor and his girlfriend broke up this last spring and he wasn't ready to ask a girl again so he went single with his friends.

We leave in 19 days for China.  And right now I have a horrible cold and can't do much.   I had three days off in a row and now these days feel wasted since I'm so sick.  Here is the itinerary below:

Highschool soccer has started

Both boys are playing highschool soccer.  Parker is on JV and Conor on Varsity.  They have had a Jamboree, an away game and a home game so far.  Conor's number 11 and Parker number 19!

First day of School

Here are the First day of school pictures!  Conor is a Junior, Parker is a Freshman, Chase is a 5th grader, Zoe is a 3rd grader and Hope's in Preschool!

Parker is 5ft 7 and 123lbs

Chase is 53inches and 60lbs

Zoe is 49in and 54.6lbs

Hope is 36 1/2inches and 29 lbs

Conor is 6ft1 and 151lbs

We have Travel Approval and travel dates!

Wow what a whirlwind of a week.  Monday we got article 5 pickup.  Thursday shockingly we received our travel approval and today Friday we got our confirmed Consulate appointment date.
We leave for China on the 13th of October, meet Faith on the 19th!  I will be starting our website soon and will share it once it is completed!

Adoption update

It's been awhile since I've updated on our current adoption.  We are currently waiting for our Article 5 to be picked up.  I will be picked up on Monday the 24th and then we will be officially waiting for our Travel approval from China.  When we get our travel approval we can start booking our trip to China.  We plan on leaving around the 14th of October and returning just before Halloween.  Gotcha day will be the 19th of October!

T2 game

Chase and his friend got the opportunity to walk players out to the field last Sunday for their soccer game.  It was a pretty fun night with lots of soccer!
