Hope's first Zoo trip

Today we finally made it up to the zoo.  We've been wanting to go for awhile but with our busy schedules we found it impossible to go until now.  We let Chase bring his friend Seth.  Parker tried to invite a friend but it was too last minute for it to work out.  The kids had so much fun.  They got a passport book at the entrance and had to get stamps at different stations.  It made it fun for the kids.
We started with a picnic lunch.  Then off to see the new elephant area.  There is lots of construction going on.  My favorite part was hearing Hope's little voice exclaim with excitement when she seen the animals.  This little girl already knows all of her animals and her little voice is just the cutest thing of all.  She especially love the Lion area and when she couldn't see the real lion she got excited over a poster they had up!  Afterwards we went to dinner at Joe's Crab shack.  We've been wanting to go there for a long time.  We got there early and got a seat right away.  Parker, Steve and Zoe got to have crab.  The food as usual was delicious and the place is always a fun place to eat!

Using our double stroller for the first time.  It didn't quite work as well as we wanted it to so we are back to the drawing board

Love this picture and the love he has for her

We watched a bird show and it was short and sweet.  Loved seeing this little guy at the end
It was funny to see how Hope measured up to Polar Bear
We were all amazed by how long the bears nails were
